Student Naturalists

St. Olaf is lucky to have an extensive and diverse natural lands: 90 acres of restored forest, 150 acres of native tall grass prairie, and 15 restored wetlands. This land provides space for research, recreation, and adds aesthetic value. As student naturalists, we hope to enhance the Northfield community’s knowledge of the natural lands. We offer tours, continue restoration, and conduct ecosystem research.
